CABLE 01IP09EGSF Instrumentation cable - Available in multiple conductors and various sections.
These instrumentation and communication cables are used to transmit analog or digital signals in measurement and control processes. These cables comply with the requirements of the NFC 32070 C1 standard for fire propagation resistance.
The instrumentation cables are also designed to resist aliphatic hydrocarbons (90% heptane / 10% benzene) and meet AFNOR specifications for the oil industry. They are compliant with intrinsic safety requirements according to EN 50039. Contact with aromatic hydrocarbons (100% benzene) requires a special sheath of type PF (PVC + lead) or TF (ETFE).
Meaning of the Nexans code consisting of 5 series of 2 digits or letters:
1st series = number of pairs, triples, or quadruples: 01 to 27
2nd series = pair (IP), triple (IT), quadruple (IQ)
3rd series = conductor core 05 (0.8 mm wire), 09 (7 wires of 0.4 mm), or 15 (7 wires of 0.52 mm)
4th series = overall screen (EG), individual screen + overall screen (EI)
5th series = mechanical protection: without tape (SF), with tape (FA), with lead + tape (PF)

Identification of conductors
1 pair: white / red
1 triple: white / red / blue
1 quadruple: white / red / blue / yellow
External PVC sheath in blue or gray, resistant to aliphatic hydrocarbons.
For multi-pair and multi-triple cables, the identification of pairs and triples is achieved by numbering, either on the white conductor or on the PVC sheath of each element.
