U1000-R02V Energy cables insulated with cross-linked polyethylene under PVC sheath, with rigid copper conductor - Class 1 and 2 - Available in multiple conductors and sections.
The U1000-R02V conductors are rigid and semi-rigid power and control cables used for connecting a wide range of industrial applications, with a nominal voltage of 600/1000 V. They are most commonly used for powering electrical equipment, as well as for controlling and remotely controlling lighting systems and many other applications.
The hardness of the U1000-R02V cable depends on the conductor section. It is considered class 1 for sections equal to or less than 4mm², and class 2 for sections greater than 4mm².
Code Meaning:
U: Cable subject to a UTE standard.
1000: Maximum voltage up to 1000VAC.
R: Insulation of the conductors made from cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
2: Independent filler of the sheath.
V: Sheath made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Description
The U-1000 R2V cable can be installed in cable trays, conduits, or walls. It has a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C during installation and -25°C to +90°C once installed. It offers good resistance to low temperatures, chemicals, and UV rays. It can be used without mechanical protection in open air, fixed to walls or in cable trays. It can also be installed underground or in explosion risk zones with appropriate mechanical protection (Note: in this case, the allowed current load is reduced by 15%).
