CMBE is a compact, high-efficiency booster pump suitable for clean water supply and pressure boosting in domestic and light commercial applications. It maintains constant pressure thanks to the integrated variable speed controller.
Description
The Grundfos CMBE is a compact booster set designed for water supply in domestic applications.
The integrated speed controller allows the CMBE to maintain constant pressure in the pipe system.
A pressure sensor monitors changes in water consumption and signals the controller to adjust the motor speed, ensuring the pump’s performance matches demand.
The CMBE booster set is very easy to install. Once connected to the piping, simply plug it into a power source and it’s ready to operate.
The CMBE booster set consists of the following components:
- a CME booster pump with integrated frequency converter
- a five-way valve
- a pressure tank
- a pressure gauge
The Grundfos CMBE set does not require any external motor protection.
The MGE motor includes built-in thermal protection against slow overload and locking (IEC 34.11: TP 211).
The Grundfos CMBE is mainly used for domestic and light commercial water supply or pressure boosting applications.
Note: Maximum suction lift is 1 meter, including suction pipe pressure loss, at a liquid temperature of 20 °C (not self-priming).
